Am I eligible to invest via a Property Partner ISA?
In order to invest using an ISA you must be 18 and over and be resident in the UK. You will need to provide your UK National Insurance number when you open your portfolio.
You can only subscribe to one ISA of each type per tax year, with a current annual ISA subscription limit of £20,000. If you have registered with another Innovative Finance ISA provider during the current tax year, but not yet deposited funds, then you can still subscribe to the Property Partner Innovative Finance ISA this tax year. You only subscribe to an ISA when you add funds to it, registering for an ISA account with a provider does not on its own count as subscribing.
If you have already subscribed to another Innovative Finance ISA in the current tax year, or reached your annual subscription limit, you can still open a Property Partner ISA account and transfer in funds from other ISAs. Click here for more details on transferring in an ISA.
Currently, only investors who have self-classified as High Net Worth or Sophisticated Investors are eligible to invest in property backed debt investments through the Property Partner ISA. Click here to read more about investor classification.
Opening an ISA portfolio
Opening an ISA portfolio only takes a few minutes.
Click on ISA in the main navigation. Once the page has loaded click on the ‘Open an ISA portfolio’ button. New clients will be prompted to open a Property Partner account first, whereas returning clients will be prompted to log in.
Follow the prompts on screen, and be sure to read the ISA investor declaration to confirm you are eligible to invest with an ISA.
If you have not yet done so, you will need to provide your UK National Insurance number. This is a legal requirement when opening an ISA with any provider.
Once you submit the form, you will be taken to your ISA portfolio dashboard where you can add funds to your ISA portfolio.
Is there a cancellation period?
If you decide you no longer want a Property Partner ISA, you will have the right to cancel your account within 14 calendar days of the date your account is opened. If you cancel within this period, you will remain eligible to open an Innovative Finance ISA with us or another ISA provider. You will also not have used up any of your current year subscription. This will not apply if you cancel your Property Partner ISA after this period.
